Bhavya Roy was seen abusing, threatening and assaulting the security guard

A woman arrested after a video of a Noida society misbehaving and assaulting security guards went viral on Wednesday, a local court granted bail to her, her lawyer said.
Bhavya Roy (32) was arrested on Sunday while the incident took place on Saturday at around 5.30 pm at the entrance of Jaypee Wishtown Society in Noida Sector 128. Bhavya Roy was granted bail by Surajpur Court Chief Judicial Magistrate Richa Upadhyay. His lawyer Inderveer Singh Bhati said.
Inderveer Singh Bhati told PTI, “We argued that my client was arrested without any notice, whereas it is necessary to issue notice in cases where the offenses entail a jail term of less than seven years. To the court. Convinced and granted bail.”
He said he also referred to Bhavya Roy’s clear criminal history or any other matter considered by the court.
Education’s lawyer Bhavya Roy was in a palanquin and got into an argument with security guards at the entrance of JP Wishtown Society in Sector 126 police station area, allegedly due to a delay in opening the gate by one of them.
The security guard who filed the complaint with the police claimed that Bhavya Roy not only threw abusive words, and humiliated him and his associates, but also “made derogatory remarks and used derogatory words” towards a particular community.
The video of the incident also shows Bhavya Roy using abusive words and holding guard Anoop Kumar by his uniform. He also made obscene physical gestures and threatening comments to her and other security guards on duty.
As soon as the video went viral on Sunday, Bhavya Roy was charged under Indian Penal Code sections 153A (acts prejudicial to good faith), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of public peace), 506 (criminal intimidation). A case was registered under among others, and arrested, police said.
