This time, he shared an emotional video sharing glimpses of his hometown, leaving netizens nostalgic. The Chairman of RPG Group shared a beautiful video that takes users on a journey to old Kolkata. The video also showcases all the things that make a unique childhood experience for anyone who grew up in Kolkata.

The video compilation includes Victoria Memorial, trams, hand-pulled rickshaws, Howrah Bridge, yellow and black taxis, Park Street decorated with Christmas lights, vintage cars, artisans making Durga Puja idols, Phantom Sweet cigarettes and Lambretta scooters.

”Kolkata is not just a place, it is truly a feeling. It’s chaotic, it’s moody. It is a rich tapestry of culture, politics and history. And this is an indifferent personality. Let me take you down memory lane to my hometown!” Mr Goenka wrote.

This is not the first time that Goenka has expressed his love for the city. In a post last year, he shared what the city means to him.

“Kolkata is not a city, it is a feeling. The city evokes nostalgia. I remember it for its food, its sweet language, its culture, its fiery politics. I may not be physically present but a part of me has always stayed behind,” he wrote and posted a few pictures from The City of Joy.
