Not making any front: KCR said, the party will become national

K Chandrasekhar Rao has already said that he intends to play a role in national politics.

Hyderabad:

Celebrating 21 years of formation of Telangana’s ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi, after formally stepping into adulthood, party president K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to step out of his home turf and join national politics for the party. It’s time to venture in.

Addressing party leaders at the TRS plenary session in Hyderabad today, Rao said some MLAs have expressed the view that the time has come to convert TRS to BRS (Committee of the Indian Nations). It was warmly welcomed by around 3000 party leaders gathered at Hyderabad International Convention Centre, HICC in Hyderabad.

As if taking a step in that direction, one of the 11 resolutions being tabled at the plenary session today was intended for the TRS to play an important role in national politics. Mr. Rao has already said that he intends to play a role in national politics.

He said the TRS has already acquired land and an influential party is building an office in the national capital.

Rao, however, rejected the idea of political fronts, saying that there have been many fronts in the past which did not yield much.

He said, “I am not talking of political parties coming together. People ask me which front I am forming. I am forming a Jan Morcha. We need a common agenda, a new integrated agriculture and industrial policy. needed.”

“We need people’s agenda, not a front where two to three chief ministers come together. When we talked about Telangana 21 years ago, people were skeptical. They ridiculed us,” he said. Look where we are now. This kind of process we want to reveal to the nation as well,” KCR said.

Another resolution in the plenary session was to oppose communal politics. Without naming any other party, Mr Rao said that communal politics and division are being used for political gains. He cited the examples of Bengaluru and Delhi to illustrate how polarization and divisive politics affect the image of the country.

Rao said, “30 lakh people work in Bengaluru in top jobs, IT sector etc. Another 30 lakh jobs get support because of it. But in Karnataka, they are questioning what you wear, what you eat.” are,” said Mr. Rao.

He said, “Even during Kovid, we told our migrant workers that they are partners in our progress. We provided them with ration like our own people, arranged transport to go home. So they all returned to work. “
