‘Not right’: Tesla’s Elon Musk cried again over German red tape

Tesla Inc Chief Executive Elon Musk took to Twitter on Tuesday to launch a consultation process for local citizens to object to the construction of a giant factory near Berlin.

The process, which is being repeated over concerns of non-compliance for the first time, is a stumbling block in Tesla’s plan to begin production of electric cars this month. .

“Ah,” Musk tweeted Tuesday https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1455625961643380741?s=20 in response to an article he posted about the consultation.

Musk then added in another tweet https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1455626500443709445?s=20, “What they’re doing is not right.”

The car and battery factory is still awaiting approval by local authorities. The consultation runs until 22 November.

In his two-year battle to get production run on the site, Musk has expressed irritation over German laws and procedures, arguing that complex planning requirements were at odds with the urgency needed to fight climate change.
