call nothing (1) Can be said to be one of the most talked about smartphones of this year. The smartphone finally launched last month and one can say that it managed to live up to the hype (Nothing Phone (1) review), thanks to the design and hardware that comes with it. Also, the Glyph LED interface is one of the major selling points of the smartphone.
As with all design aesthetics, there were concerns about the durability of the Nothing Phone (1). However, it looks like we finally have the answer. popular YouTuber, jerryrig everythingWhich is known for its durability test and teardown videos, has done a durability test video of the Nothing Phone (1).
The YouTuber did all sorts of tests on the Nothing phone (1), including a scratch test where the phone got some scratches around level 5 and level 6, but that’s the case with many smartphones these days.
However, the actual quality test of a smartphone is usually shown during the bend test. The handset managed to survive the front and rear turns without any damage. However, there was some flex and a strange noise can be heard in the video when pressure is applied from the front. Overall, Nothing Phone (1) narrowly survived the bend test.
The smartphone also performed poorly in the repairability test. The phone scored 3 out of 10 due to repairs, availability of parts, and time taken to replace the screen and battery.
