He suggests that pani puri is actually a healthier treat as compared to cheesy junk food like burgers, pizza etc. He gives some tips to make pani puri weight loss friendly and low in calories.

Here are tips and tricks to make pani puri weight loss friendly:

1. Make Puri at Home

If possible, make puchkas or puris at home as they will require less oil and will also be healthier and more hygienic. Store-bought or street-style ones are often laden with excess oil which can prove to be harmful for those watching their weight. Dietician Garima suggests, “To further reduce its calorie content, make Golgappa balls at home in an air-fryer with minimal oil usage. Pooris can also be easily made at home.”

2. Use less potatoes
