Nursery Admissions: Delhi Schools Release First List; Check date of last second list

New Delhi Delhi schools have released the first list for nursery admissions on Friday. Schools have released their first list using the Point-based criteria announced by them earlier.

The process of this admission started from December.

The Directorate of Education (DOE) has said that private unaided accredited schools will develop and adopt criteria for admission which shall be fair, fair, well defined, equitable, non-discriminatory. Obvious and transparent.

The process of nursery admission in more than 1800 schools of Delhi had started from 15th December.

“The first list of selected children has been have been shown There will be a second list today and thereafter on February 21 and subsequent list, if any, for admission on March 15. The entire admission process will end on March 31,” a senior DoE official said.

DoE has also directed that the number of seats at the entry level shall not be less than the maximum number of seats in the entry level classes during the last three academic years – 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22.

As per the norms, all private unaided recognized schools will reserve 25 per cent seats for EWS or DG category students and children with disabilities in pre-school, pre-primary and class-I level.

A monitoring committee has been constituted in each district under the chairmanship of the concerned Deputy Director (District). The Deputy Director was also asked to ensure that every private school uploads the norms and their points on the online module and further ensure that the school does not adopt the norms which were struck down by the department and the Delhi High Court was retained by
