Okinawa Autotech has finally launched its much awaited okhi 90 electric scooter Priced at Rs 1.22 lakh in India (ex-showroom, Rs. All-India) The pre-booking of the e-scooter has started online at a token price of Rs 500.
After FAME II and state subsidy, the Okinawa Ockhi 90 price in Delhi and Maharashtra is Rs 1.03 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of specifications, the Ockhi 90 e-scooter is powered by a 3.6kWh lithium-ion battery along with an IP-65 certified 3.8kW electric mill.
As per Okinawa’s claims, the Okinawa 90 range is 160 km in Sport mode and 200 km per charge in Eco mode. The company says that the e-scooter has a top speed of 90 kmph and takes around 3-4 hours to charge from 0-100%.
The Ockhi 90 e-scooter claims to be the first scooter to get 16-inch wheels in India. Also, it gets a huge boot space of 40 liters. Talking about the features, the base variant is equipped with a digital LCD instrument cluster while the top variant gets a TFT screen with turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.
Other features of the Okinawa Okhi 90 electric scooter are a keyless start and a USB charger at boot. Okinawa is yet to reveal the price of the base variant, though according to sources, it will cost Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 less than the top variant.
