The first deliveries of the much-awaited Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters have started today, December 15, 2021.
Ola Electric has announced on December 15, 2021 that the company has started the deliveries of its S1 electric scooter. As per the announcement, the company said that it has organized special events in Bengaluru and Chennai to offer both the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro trims to the first 100 customers. Last month, Ola Electric started test rides for the electric scooter for customers who had already booked after several delays. The deliveries of the Ola electric scooter were initially scheduled to start from October 2021.

The top-spec Ola S1 Pro is available in a choice of 10 colours, and gets additional features like hill hold, cruise control and voice assistant.

Ola Electric is manufacturing the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters at its FutureFactory with all women employees.
Ola Electric originally opened reservations for its electric scooters in mid-September. The company launched the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in August 2021. The Ola S1 is priced at ₹ 85,099, which goes up to ₹ 1.10 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi after FAME II subsidy) for the S1 Pro. Both the variants differ in performance, range, number of riding modes and number of colours, though the basic design remains the same.

The S1 Pro is more feature-loaded than the base S1 variant, as it gets features like voice control, hill hold and cruise control. The Ola S1 offers a top speed of 90 kmph and a range of 121 kmph. The top-spec Ola S1 Pro comes with a range of 181 kmph with a claimed top speed of 115 kmph.
