Passengers on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway near Ghaziabad will soon be able to dine inside the cabin of an airplane as preparations begin to build a restaurant using a scrapped airplane. Aeroplane A restaurant is being built in the rest of the area on the expressway and a private company has been entrusted with the project.
Speaking to ANI, Project Manager, Anubhav Jain said that the work of assembling the pieces of a scrapped aircraft brought from Delhi and the restaurant has started.
The project manager also gives detailed information about the airplane restaurant which has a seating capacity of about 70 people. A rooftop open restaurant will be developed on airplane petals, where birthday parties and many more can be arranged, he said.
Jain also said that it will take around two to three months for the airplane restaurant ‘Justin’ to start operations.
People are coming from nearby places to see the progress of the restaurant and the manager said that they will give employment to people from nearby villages.
Jain elaborated that this place will be developed as an amusement park so that people from Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad can come here.
“Along with parks for children to play, shopping centers and multiplexes will also be built. It will take three to four months to start all of them,” Jain said.
