“The work is in the preparation stage and once completed I want to enter my name in the Guinness Book of World Records,” said Mr. Hariprasad.

“Time would just fly by when I sat down to solve the puzzle and the joy of solving is unexplained,” he said. However, there weren’t many people who made wooden puzzles and finding one in the market was next to impossible, said Mr. Hariprasad, who holds a diploma in electronics as well as oil and gas engineering.
It was during his school days that he started learning the basics of carpentry and worked on improving his skills from his father, who is a carpenter. During this period, he won five times at the Kerala State School Science Fair in Carpentry. “My first thought was to make it myself because there weren’t that many people building it,” he said. It took him a few months to make it. Mr. Hariprasad said edkudam It is never easy as it requires a lot of work like planning, designing, drawing and many other steps to complete the same job. However, he has taken on the task of reviving and popularizing the wooden puzzle. He has been exhibiting it in various exhibitions and has been encouraging children to solve puzzles by organizing events in schools and colleges.
