Yet the actor went back to his hometown and goes to Mumbai only for work. “I have just started my career so there is no point in living in Mumbai. At the same time I miss the peace and quiet of my hometown. Mumbai is a bustling city; It’s beautiful and big but there, I can’t see the sky at night,” he smiles.
Is Asif afraid of being typecast after playing a negative role? “Every role comes with a different character. So even though I am playing a negative role, I am not repeating. Also, as an actor I would love to play the role of a out of place Play a role even with less space and make your mark. After all, every artist seeks that satisfaction.”
