The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday raided several places in Chhattisgarh, including premises linked to Congress leaders, as part of its ongoing probe in the coal levy money laundering case. Now the BJP has come under the target of the Congress on this issue. The Congress termed the politics of the United Nations as the third level. At the same time, state worker Bhupesh Baghel attacked the bank. He tweeted, “Today the ED has raided the houses of many of my colleagues, including the treasurer of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee, the former vice-president of the party and an MLA. After four days, there is a general convention of the Congress in Raipur. Comrades engaged in preparations. Our spirits cannot be broken by stopping them like this”.

According to the agency, the ED’s investigation pertains to a “huge scam in which coal was being laundered at Rs 25 per tonne in Chhattisgarh by a ‘gang’ involving elderly voters, BJP, political leaders and middlemen.”
