Kate Middleton recently shared pictures from her visit to the Army Training Center in Peerbright, England.
On United Kingdom’s Armed Forces Day, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton shared photos of herself in full military gear.
The photos went live on the official Instagram account of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The first slide showed Kate Middleton in head-to-toe army gear, crouching while inspecting a piece of equipment. In a later image, she is seen seated in a tank wearing a helmet, which is visible only from the neck up.
In the caption, the Duchess wrote, “Today on Armed Forces Day, William and I would like to pay tribute to the brave men and women who are currently serving in all our armed forces, at sea, on land and in the air, Here in the UK and around the world. Thank you for the sacrifices you and your families make to keep us safe.”
He also said that he was honored to spend time with the British Academy to see how they train serving personnel and new recruits. “It was wonderful to see the many important and diverse roles the military plays on a day-to-day basis to protect all of us, and I look forward to discovering more about @RoyalNavy and @RoyalAirForceUK in due course,” he added.
