Rescue operations are underway to rescue a one-year-old girl who fell into a 15-feet deep borewell in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district on Thursday.
Army personnel have also extended their hands to the local police and district administration in the ongoing rescue operation.
District magistrate Sandeep GR said, “A one-year-old and a three-year-old girl fell into a nearly 15-feet deep borewell. Rescue operations are on. Army personnel along with police and district administration are present at the spot.”
“We can still hear her voice. She can breathe properly. The baby has also been given oxygen support,” he said.
Ramsakhi Kushwaha, the child’s mother, said, “I had left the three children here in the afternoon to play. Soon a child came and told me that my child had fallen into the borewell. As soon as I came back here I saw him crying. heard his voice.”
