Operations of the capital airport of Kerala will be closed for 5 hours tomorrow

Thiruvananthapuram: The runway at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala will remain closed for five hours on April 15. Domestic and international services have been rescheduled during this period, a press release from the airport said.

KeralaThe Rajdhani airport will remain closed from 4 pm to 9 pm to facilitate the Arattu procession to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple as part of the Penkuni festival, news agency ANI reported.

“As a part of the joyous #Vishu Utsav, #Thiruvananthapuram Airport hosted a fun painting activity which was attended by many passengers with a festive spirit. Those finished artefacts were then handed over to the passengers as gifts,” it said in another tweet.

It said the bright yellow flowers of Kannikkonna flowers and the traditional symbol of Vishu have been placed at both the international and domestic terminals.
