Around 300 candidates appeared for the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) and Combined Defense Services Examination (I) held at two sub-centres in the city on Sunday.
Puducherry was one of the centers selected by the Union Public Service Commission for conducting the examination.
The district administration ran special buses from New Bus Stand between 7.30 am and 8.30 am to ferry candidates to the examination venues at Lopet and bring them back in the evening.
The CDS exam was conducted in three sessions of two hours each at Women’s Engineering College, Airport Road, Lospet. The NDA exam was conducted at Vallalar Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Losapete in two and a half hour sessions in the afternoon and afternoon.
