Filmmaker Pa Ranjith’s much-awaited romance drama Natchatiram Nagargirdhu Will hit the screens on August 31, the makers announced on Thursday.
Ranjith announced the news through a special poster, which shows the characters of the film in black and white, and has a rainbow arch in the background indicating that the film may have strange themes.
Natchatiram Nagargirdhu Kalidas Jayaram and Dasara Vijayan are in the lead roles, while Kalairasan, Hari Krishnan, Subatra Robert, Vinoth and Shabir Kallarakkal (K. Sarpatta Parambrai fame) will be seen in lead roles. Regine Rose, Damu, Gyanprasad, Vinsu Rachael Sam, Arjun Prabhakaran, Uthaiah Surya, Stephen Raj, Sherin Selene Mathew and Manisa Tait are also part of the cast,
With music by Tenma, the film has cinematography by A Kishore Kumar and editing by Selva RK. The film is produced by Vignesh Sundarsan, Manoj Lionel Jahsan and Ranjeet through their Neelam Productions and Yazi Films banners.

Meanwhile, a sony liv anthology movie titled Victim The shorts, directed by Ranjith, Venkat Prabhu, Chimbudevan and M Rajesh, premiered today. Ranjeet also has a film with Vikram ( chian 61), for a follow-up Sarpatta Parambraian action movie titled vettuvamand a film based on the life of Birsa Munda in various stages of production.
