Pak-Canadian columnist Tarek Fatah passed away at the age of 73 after prolonged illness

On Sunday, Natasha tweeted about “slow Sundays with dad”, “listening to old Bollywood songs” and “their shared love for Mother India”.

She wrote, “Enjoying a slow Sunday morning with my dad. Listening to old Bollywood songs and I wearing orange for our shared love for Mother India. And our adopted and A hit of red for sweet home Canada.”

Fatah was known for his progressive views on Islam and his hardline stance on Pakistan. He often expressed his support for the BJP-led NDA government in India.

Born in Pakistan in 1949, Fatah moved to Canada in the early 1980s and worked as a political activist, journalist and television host in Canada and wrote several books.
