According to a report by the Center for Peace and Justice Pakistan, there are 22,10,566 people belonging to the minority Hindu community in Pakistan, which is only 1.18 percent of the country’s total registered population of 18,68,90,601.
The report states that minorities constitute less than five percent of the total population of Pakistan, with Hindus being the largest minority community.
The number of registered Hindus is 22,10,566, followed by Christians at 18,73,348, Ahmadis at 1,88,340, Sikhs 74,130, brothers 14,537 and Parsis at 3,917, according to the report based on three national population censuses conducted in Pakistan.
