Four women, including a teenager, were dragged, dragged and thrashed by a group of people in Punjab’s Faisalbab, about 180 km from Lahore, on Monday.
In a viral video, the four were seen pleading with the people around them to be given a piece of cloth to cover themselves after taking off their clothes, but they were beaten up with sticks. They were paraded naked in the streets for an hour.
One of them alleged that when he entered a shop and asked for water when he was thirsty, he was charged with theft.
