Wasim Akram, popularly known as the Sultan of Swing, felt very bad seeing the wicket of Rawalpindi. He revealed that he saw two balls and knew immediately that the game was about to end in an even draw. He further said that the pitches could have been made at least turner if the idea was to make a slow track to get the result.

“There is a method to build a slow track. If you want to do this, depending on the technicality, you roll low to the center and leave the area around the front foot a little dry so that the ball turns from day 1. If you want to make slow pitches then at least make it a turner so that we get a result-oriented match. I hope whoever is making the pitch will learn from it. It’s quite boring to be honest,” he said.
