If there was any ad about a fast bowler making a comeback after being hit for a six, Pakistan seamer Mohammad Wasim Jr. would be at the forefront to become the hero. The right-arm seamer was hit for a huge six by Brandon King who landed on the roof of the National Sports Stadium in Karachi in the sixth over of West Indies’ innings in the third T20I. Wasim gave the right answer on the very next ball. He sent the King’s off-stump cartwheeling.
Opening the bat after Nicholas Pooran won the toss and elected to bat, King picked up where he left off in the previous match.
He hit the boundaries to give the audience a great start. On the last ball of the sixth over, he got a short off Wasim’s delivery, which he drove out of the park. West Indies had scored 60 runs for no loss and there was still one ball left for the powerplay to end.
Sensing King could go for it again, Wasim decides to pitch it but away from the King’s arc. King tried to use the momentum of the ball instead of using power, but he missed. The ball hit the off stump.

Wasim has been one of the star performers for Pakistan in this series. The pacer took 8 wickets in three matches to have a series to remember.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam acted with the bat as Pakistan beat West Indies by seven wickets to sweep 3-0.
Chasing 208, Pakistan got off to a good start as openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan added 60 runs in the first six overs. At the halfway mark, Pakistan were 98/0, with the hosts needing 110 runs to win from the last 10 overs.
Babar and Rizwan shared a 158-run partnership for the opening wicket as both the batsmen crossed their fifty. Babar was dismissed for 79 while Rizwan was sent back to the pavilion after scoring 87 runs. In the end, Pakistan won by seven wickets with seven balls to spare.
