Twitter CEO Parag Aggarwal was recently seen serving coffee to a coffee shopper. Well, don’t make decisions too quickly. Last week, Agarwal attended a few business events in London and during one such event, he was seen taking coffee orders from his staff. He was accompanied by Twitter UK Managing Director Dara Nassar and Twitter CFO Ned Segal. Sehgal was seen having cookies to go with the coffee.
After Twitter founder Jack Dorsey left the firm in November 2021, Parag Agarwal took control of the company.
In May 2022, Agarwal sacked two well-known employees – consumer products chief Kywan Becpour, who was also on paternity leave, and revenue chief Bruce Falk.
Explaining the recent downsizing, Agarwal said that he had announced a leadership change and hiring freeze to “build a stronger Twitter.
A few weeks ago, Elon Musk addressed Twitter staff in a unanimous meeting. Musk offered to buy the social media company for $44 billion. Tesla and SpaceX CEOs wanted Twitter to grow into a super app similar to WeChat in China.
The Tesla CEO openly insulted Agarwal on Twitter, after which their relationship suffered.
