According to a report, a passenger in an American flight was rebuked mid-flight in an American flight when he brought his knitting needles for some embroidery work. New York PostA woman named Britney, who regularly weaves the material on her social media platform, shared the video, stating that she could not weave.
Posting a video of her knitting bag under the seat, Britney wrote: “Staring at my knitting in jail because the flight attendant asked me to tell me to tell me if I really want to catch needles if there was an emergency.”
He said that the treatment completed by the flight attendant was “the first for him” and did not get to finish his sock weaving on the flight. A member of the cabin crew asked Britney whether she wants to catch needles when she is in an emergency.
However, Brittany argued that the flight attendant may have a gentler in the approach. “If she was not comfortable with the needles, it’s fine, but I did not appreciate her kind view,” she said.

The video divided the internet, disappointing Britney with some sharing while others reported that the flight attendant was right to be worried about the needle.
A user said, “TSA says they are allowed if they meet certain criteria. Perhaps the flight attendant only thinks that they know everything,” a user said, while another said, “The other said,” Last time I had tested, weaving needles had marks and were made of metal.
One third remarked: “I bring small plastic weaving needles on flights and work on small projects. I have always had a good conversation with the flight attendant what I am weaving.”
According to the TSA site, knitting needles are allowed in both carry-on and checked goods. However, the agency notes that any “intensity in a bag checked bags should be cold or safely wrapped to luggage handlers and inspectors to prevent injury.”
