Pathan Box Office Day 8: The Shah Rukh Khan starrer sees a slight drop in collections after a stupendous first week

Pathan Box Office: After performing brilliantly at the box office in its first week of release, Pathan starred in Shahrukh Khan And Deepika Padukone as a spy agent and John abraham As the leader of an international terrorist organization, it has seen a slight drop in its collections on Wednesday. The film has earned around Rs 634 crore worldwide since its release on 25 January and will now become the highest-grossing Indian film worldwide. With the release of Pathan, Shah Rukh Khan is back in the box office business as it has become his highest grosser within just one week.

Pathan has already secured the title of the film to become the fastest to enter Rs 200 crore, Rs 250 crore and Rs 300 crore at the box office in India. However, due to the weekdays, the film’s collections have seen a slight drop. According to a Box Office India report, as per early estimates, Pathan collected Rs 17-17.5 crore on Wednesday, taking its eight-day collection in India to Rs 333 crore. It is expected that at this rate, the film will enter the 350 crore club on Thursday i.e. in nine days. After that the collections are expected to increase further on the second weekend from Friday evening.

Pathan enthralled the foreign audience

Shah Rukh Khan’s magic is going on not only in India but also abroad. Pathan is one of the highest selling films in the US, UK, Canada and Gulf countries. According to YRF, since its release on January 25, Pathan has registered a gross collection of Rs 238.5 crore in overseas territories alone. It is also the third largest Hindi language worldwide and has reached the benchmark in just one week. According to Box Office India, Dangal and Baahubali – The Conclusion which have collections of Rs 700 crore and Rs 800 crore respectively in Hindi language are on top of it.
