The United States Justice Department released a set of pictures as part of the criminal indictment against former President Donald Trump and alleged that he stored classified documents in his bathroom, shower, bedroom and ballroom of his Florida club. The department has also alleged that Donald Trump even flaunted the secret documents to people without security clearances. Donald Trump even tried to conceal material from his own lawyers and the investigators, the department said.
In the indictment, prosecutors spell out the types of classified material the Republican presidential candidate is accused of keeping at his Florida beach club after he left office in 2021, along with where he is said to have kept them and what he did with them.

DOCUMENTS STORED IN BATHROOM, BEDROOM
According to the indictment, Donald Trump, known for keeping mementos, kept hundreds of classified documents, along with newspapers, press clippings, notes and cards in cardboard boxes at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. The documents were stored across the Florida club –the ballroom, a bathroom and shower, an office space, his bedroom and a storage room. The indictment mentioned that the secret documents included “information regarding defense and weapons capabilities of both the United States and foreign countries, United States nuclear programs, potential vulnerabilities of the United States and its allies to military attack, and plans for possible retaliation in response to a foreign attack.”

In July 2021, at Donald Trump’s Bedminster golf course in New Jersey, a concerning incident occurred involving the former president. During this time, he shared sensitive information about a “plan of attack” prepared by the defence officials, with individuals who lacked security clearance. The recipients included a writer, a publisher, and two staff members.
During the meeting, Donald Trump told them that the plan was “highly confidential.” “As president, I could have declassified it,” Donald Trump said, adding, “Now I can’t, you know, but this is still a secret.”

The indictment mentioned that Donald Trump asked his valet Walt Nauta to “move boxes of documents” to reportedly “conceal them” from the FBI, the grand jury and one of his own lawyers.
