Another such video, which shows a strangely heavy looking mountain goat, is being viewed millions of times. On January 9, the 6-second video was shared by a popular Twitter account named OddIy Terrifying (@OTerrifying). Till date, the clip has garnered over 36 million views and over 4 million likes.

Many commented on the goat’s appearance of surprise and shared their own photos with the mountain goats while they were hiking.

Commenting on the video, a radio user wrote, “It’s a god, there’s no chance it’s a mountain spirit.” Another person said, “He looks like a mountain goat, polar bear, and horse all rolled into one creature!”.

One Twitter user reacted in contrast, writing, “I forgot people don’t go out or spend a lot of time in nature, this is a normal looking mountain goat to me. They climbed 14,000 feet.” Huh.”

Despite their name, mountain goats are not goats. They have a greater affinity with sheep and are excellent climbers. The type of white furred mountain buck in the video is endemic to the mountains of western North America.
