Petrol, diesel prices on July 13: Check prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai – Times of India

Petrol and diesel prices have remained stable on July 13 as oil companies have been selling both the fuels at unchanged prices for almost two months. Fuel prices have remained unchanged since Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on May 21 announced reduction of excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 8 per liter and Rs 6 per liter respectively.
Petrol price in Delhi today is Rs 96.72 per liter as against Rs 105.41 per liter before excise duty cut, while diesel price in Delhi is Rs 89.62 per liter as against Rs 96.67 per litre. Customers will have to pay Rs 111.35 per liter for petrol and Rs 97.28 per liter for diesel in Mumbai.

Public sector OMCs, such as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., revise fuel prices on a daily basis as per global benchmark prices and foreign exchange rates. Petrol and diesel prices are revised every day from 6 am onwards. Retail petrol and diesel prices vary from state to state due to local taxes such as VAT or freight charges.
