Both the motorcycles were direct rivals of Royal Enfield’s range of 350 cc motorcycles. Jawa Forty Two in particular looks to be part of a modern classic and is affordable as well, if you are looking to buy a used model. But before you do, here’s a list of the pros and cons of buying used Java Forty two that you can see.

- The 293 cc engine on the BS4 model makes 28 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque, which means that the power on tap is higher than that of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 (the previous generation model). Apart from this, Jawa is also much lighter than the Classic 350. This means you won’t be disappointed for the performance.

Shortcoming
- The suspension on the Jawa Forty Two is tight. So, it may not be as comfortable on broken roads.
