Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kedarnath on November 5 and will inaugurate Kedarpuri reconstruction projects ₹250 crores. He will also offer Namaz there.
Earlier this month, PM Modi visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rishikesh to inaugurate an oxygen plant.
Modi has visited Kedarnath several times since becoming the Prime Minister in 2014. However, he could not visit Kedarnath last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami confirmed Modi’s visit next month. He said that apart from offering prayers at the Himalayan temple, the Prime Minister may also inaugurate the Kedarpuri reconstruction projects. ₹250 crores.
“The Prime Minister is also likely to lay the foundation stone for the second phase of Kedarpuri reconstruction projects. ₹150 crores,” Dhami said.
With the pandemic situation being relatively under control, there was speculation about his visit to the temple.
The Prime Minister is closely monitoring the Kedarpuri reconstruction projects.
On the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj, the doors of Kedarnath are to be closed for winter on 6th November.
