During an ongoing match, a police dog suddenly attacks the field.
A video from Brazil’s ‘The Campeonato Pernambucano de Ftbol’ is going viral on the internet in which a police dog suddenly attacks the field during the ongoing match between two local teams – Nautico and Retro.
The incident happened during the final match of the tournament when a German Shepherd, who was part of the K-9 squad, got a little excited and decided to join the game. The game was played on Thursday and ended in a 1–0 win for Retro.

In the video, the dog is seen running around the players in the field and they too enjoy his company. After a few rounds on the field, the dog decides to take the football in his mouth and enjoys a few more rounds before being kicked off the field by two of the team’s officials.
The video was tweeted by @geglobo on Twitter with the caption:
“Um cachoro da polcia invadiu o campo na final do Pernambucano! E o bichinho queria a bola… (A police dog invaded the field in the Pernambuco final! And the pet needed the ball).”
Social media users loved the dog spirit. One user said on Twitter, “Having the time of their lives.”
“Football is a simple game. Twenty two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and in the end, the German Shepherd always wins,” tweeted another.
Being loyal, confident, courageous and stable, the German Shepherd is often regarded as the best all-around worker in the canine world. They are a strong dog breed with a great personality and excellent intelligence.
