Pooja Hegde wraps up shooting for ‘Beast’

Actress Pooja Hegde on Friday said that she has completed shooting for her next film “Beast”, which stars South star Thalapathy Vijay. The upcoming Tamil-language film is a comedy-action thriller, written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Sun Pictures, which are backing “Beast”, shared the news of Hegde wrapping up the shoot along with a video message from the actor on social media.

The tweet read, “It’s a wrap for @hegdepoja! Hear what he has to say with #Thalapathy @actorvijay and director @Nelsondilipkumar about the shoot of #Beast.”

Hegde, who is returning to Tamil films after a gap of nine years, says she really enjoyed working in ‘Beast’. “Working on ‘Beast’ has been great because everyone is so alive and when we were shooting it felt like a vacation. Being on set has been an absolute pleasure, we love making films. And me hope you boys laugh too

“In the usual Nelson and Vijay sir style, this film is about to entertain. Sadly today is my last day for ‘Beast’, it’s a shoot wrap for my part,” the 31-year-old actor said at 46 Said- Second video clip.

Hegde’s first film with Vijay, “Beast”, debuted earlier this year. Last week, the director had revealed through social media that the team has completed 100 days of shooting. The film is scheduled to release in 2022.

Hegde has a slew of exciting and diverse projects in the pipeline including multilingual film “Radha Shyam” with Prabhas, Telugu action drama “Acharya” with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan. Rohit Shetty-Directed opposite Hindi film “Circus” Ranveer singh And Salman Khan-Starrer “Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali”.
