PSEB Punjab Board 5th Result Declared: 99.57% Students Pass, Toppers Get 100% Marks

Punjab School Education Board (PSEB)Mohali has declared the class 5 board exam results on Friday. Students who appeared for the exam can check their scores at pseb.ac.in. The result was declared virtually through Zoom meeting. Out of 3,19,086 students who appeared for the exam, 3,17,728 have cleared it. The pass percentage of Punjab Board Class 5 result is 99.57 percent.

This year’s pass percentage is the lowest in the last three years. In 2020, 99.83 per cent students took the exam, while in 2021, the pass percentage of class 5 students rose to 99.76 per cent, while this year 99.57 per cent students have passed.

Sukhman Kaur of Silver Vatika Convent School, Dharamkot, Mansa has topped with 100% marks. She shares her rank with Rajeev and Sahijpreet Kaur of Kapurthala Government School – both of whom have scored 500 out of 500.

While the results have been declared today, the marks will be available on the websites pseb.ac.in and indiareslt.com from May 7 at 10 am.

Whereas the pass percentage of Punjab Board Result has been high. Girls perform slightly better than boys. Not only has one female student secured the first rank, but 99.63 of the girls who have appeared for the board exams have also cleared it. This overall pass percentage is above 99.57 percent. Despite having a higher percentage of 99.52 per cent, the percentage of boys who passed the board examination was slightly lower than that of girls.

School-wise, 99.73 per cent of the students who took the exam in the affiliated schools cleared it. The pass percentage in affiliated schools has dropped to 99.53 percent and in aided schools 99.08 percent students have passed the exam. Among the students of government schools, 99.55 percent students will be going to class 6.
