After the arrest of Pappalpreet Singh (Pappalpreet Singh), a close aide of Khalistani supporter and heir Punjab Chief Amritpal Singh (Amritpal Singh), the Punjab Police is now preparing to take him in confusion. This morning some officers of Punjab Police will take Pappalpreet to Dibrugarh in Assam by flight. Pappalpreet will be kept in Dibrugarh’s Central Jail. Where all the central agencies of the country are interrogated by Pappalpreet. The Punjab Police had arrested Pappalpreet from Kathong in Amritsar on Monday. However, till now Amritpal is away from the custody of the police.

Amritpal had gone deaf from Jalandhar last month after dodging the police. Since then, Amritpal and Pappalpreet were constantly together. Pappalpreet already has six cases registered against him and now the National Security Act has also been invoked against him.
The police of Amritpal and Pappalpreet were being searched since 18 March. Many footages of both of them were also revealed together, in which both were seen sometimes in Patiala, sometimes in Kurukshetra and sometimes in Delhi. Pappal Preet has been arrested and the police is on the lookout for Amritpal.
Many of Amritpal’s friends have been arrested in the past, many of whom have been sent to the Central Jail in Dibrugarh. It is one of the oldest jails in the Northeast. During the peak of ULFA insurgency in Assam, this jail was used to hold militants. Many other Khalistani supporters including Harjeet Singh and Amritpal Singh’s uncle are lodged in this jail.
Urd, the famine coup has recently asked Amritpal to surrender to the police. Along with this, the Akal coup has also rejected Amritpal Singh’s demand for ‘Sarbat Khalsa’.
