Punjab Police Promotes 60 Armed Wing Sub-Inspectors Chandigarh News – Times of India

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav has promoted 60 Sub-Inspectors of Armed Police Cadre to the rank of Inspector in order to streamline the functioning of the Armed Wing and enhance efficiency. With this promotion of 60 police personnel, almost all the vacancies of Inspector rank in all Armed Wings of Punjab Police,
The move comes a week after Punjab Police promoted 101 sub-inspectors, out of which 95. Are included lady officer,
“My top priority is to ensure timely promotions, which will address the shortage of staff at the supervisory level,” the DGP said.
