R Ashwin spotted on TNPL auction table, fans could not calm down, see picture. cricket news

Ravichandran Ashwin Unquestionably one of the finest minds in cricket at the moment. The way Ashwin studies his opponents and devises strategies to get the better of them is what makes him an incredibly successful cricketer. But, it is not just his on-field exploits that makes Ashwin a vital player for his teams. In the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2023 auction, Ashwin turned into a strategist as well, helping Dindigul Dragons get their target players out of the bidding war.

The fans could not keep themselves calm seeing Ashwin on the TNPL table. Within no time, pictures of Ashwin from the auction room spread like wildfire on social media.

Ashwin, who has been one of India’s go-to bowlers in the two Tests against Australia so far, has failed to work his magic at the 22-yard bar. Ashwin and Jadeja combined to give India a 2-0 lead in the 4-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

In fact, after a stellar performance in the first two Tests against Australia, Jadeja broke into the top 10 of the ICC Test bowlers’ rankings. The left-arm bowler is the highest wicket-taker in the Border-Gavaskar series with 17 wickets in two Tests and has moved up to ninth in the bowlers’ rankings. Jadeja is the third Indian in the top 10 along with Ravichandran Ashwin and jasprit bumrah being the other two.

Ashwin currently occupies the second position with the 40-year-old James Anderson capture the pole position. With the pace at which Ashwin is playing in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Anderson’s spot at the top is under threat from Ashwin.
