In the 11-second clip, Team India captain Rohit Sharma is seen discussing the nuances of the ended match. However, this does not interest the audience. In the background, off-spinner R Ashwin, oblivious to the fact that he is in the camera’s frame, is seen wielding two Indian cricket jerseys. In an amusing turn of events, he then sniffs those vests, apparently to check which ones belong to him. The sniff seems to have worked, as he dropped one vest and went with the other.
Needless to say, the hilarious post has attracted an array of amusing reactions and comments. So far this post has got 3.78 lakh views, 4,959 retweets and 709 quote tweets. Many users found Mr. Ashwin’s action relatable, while others reminisced about their hostel days.
One comment read, “I just want Ashwin to keep playing for such amusing moments, mem gold!” Another commented, “Final way to find out which shirt was washed/used It’s a boy thing.” A third said. Yet another added, “He forgot he was among the 83k crowd. Hope both were his or he has the ability to find out who was wearing those t-shirts.”
