Those who overcome the obstacles of their life with hard work and shine in the face of adversity, the testimony of their courage leaves an indelible impression on their mind. Recently, a video made a similar impression on actor R Madhavan, who couldn’t stop himself from highlighting it on his Twitter handle.
The video, which was initially shared by Twitter user John Pompliano, shows a disabled man, without a weapon, using an ax to cut wooden logs. “Ichha hai to rah hai. Much respect to this man for getting the job done despite adversity,” the caption read.

In the clip, which has been shot in a snowy area, the man is seen walking towards a wooden log with an ax tied under his chin. While the camera catches his patience, the man skillfully chops the log with an ax, successfully splitting it in two. Then he picks up another log and proceeds to cut it without any difficulty.
Seeing the man’s indomitable spirit, Madhavan could not resist but admired him. He re-shared the video on his Twitter handle and also dropped heart emoticons along with it. But, it was not only Madhavan who was impressed by the man’s persistence, as the video’s nearly 10,000 viewers were equally astounded by it.

Another video showing similar spirit went viral on the internet. Through the video, a man named Robert Peller shared the moment when he stood up from a wheelchair after more than three years. Robert revealed via caption that he managed to get up from a wheelchair without any assistance after a total of 1,220 days. He further wrote that although he struggled to get back on his feet for a long time, the end result of his efforts was “worth every second.”
