New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi Revealed on Wednesday how he managed to face the marathon questioning of the Enforcement Directorate National Herald Case.
The former Congress president was questioned for over 50 hours in five days at the ED office in the national capital.

Sharing the details of his interrogation, Rahul said: “I was made to sit in a small dark room. Three ED officials were interrogating me. They would leave the room to take instructions but I was sitting in the chair for a long time. But sat down and patiently answered all his questions.”
Addressing party leaders and workers, he said: “You must be thinking that it must have been difficult for me to endure for a long time. ED inquiry, But it was not difficult at all, because I was not alone in that chair. I had every Congress leader and worker in that room with me, everyone who fights against this government without any fear, everyone who fights for democracy.
Rahul claimed that even the officers interrogating him were shocked and asked him how he was able to remain so calm.

“I decided not to tell them the truth and instead gave some other reason. I told the authorities that I practice vipassana And hence can easily sit for long hours,” the Congress leader said.
“The officers interrogating me also understood that it is not possible to intimidate or suppress any Congress leader as we stand by the truth,” he said.

Rahul also claimed that after his interrogation ended after 5 days, ED officials appreciated him for his patience.
The former Congress chief attributed this trait to his association with the party since 2004, saying it is an organization that teaches one to be patient.
