Raj Thackeray, who is targeting NCP at the behest of BJP, said General Patil

Maharashtra minister and state NCP president Jayant Patil on Wednesday accused MNS chief Raj Thackeray of attacking the NCP and its president Sharad Pawar at the behest of the BJP. Patil was speaking to reporters at Mangaon in Raigad, a day after Thackeray targeted NCP leaders at a rally in neighboring Thane.

He said the opposition BJP in Maharashtra with Shiv Sena and Congress as NCP chief forms the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in the state against Pawar. “BJP always expresses its displeasure against Pawar sahib. BJP has given such responsibility (of criticizing Pawar) to different people. Patil claimed that he (Thackeray) takes responsibility and it seems that he has now taken this new responsibility.

During the rally on Tuesday, Thackeray had mentioned Patil’s first name as “Jant” (Marathi word for germs) while criticizing Patil.

Patil hit back saying that Thackeray was a student of Balmohan Vidya Mandir School in Dadar and hence is fine with grammar. But still, he made a mistake. So, we need to ask the people at Balmohan Vidya Mandir if they can organize sessions for those (alumni students) who have forgotten grammar, quipped the NCP leader. NCP spokesperson Clyde Cresto claimed that the development plan of the MNS has disappeared like the development issue of the BJP.
