Actor Rajinikanth, who has been conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest honor of Indian cinema, said in New Delhi on Monday that he would like to pay tribute to his mentor late filmmaker K.K. Remembering Balachander.
Speaking to reporters outside his home on Sunday, he said: “I am extremely happy to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest honor of Indian cinema. At this moment I feel sad that KB Sir [Balachander] is not here with us,” he said.
