Raju Srivastava’s family statement read, “Dear all, Raju Srivastava ji’s condition is stable. We are praying for his speedy recovery. Doctors are treating him and trying their best. Thanks to all the well wishers for their continued love and support. Please do not pay heed to spreading any rumour/fake news. Please keep him in your prayers.”
He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on August 10 after he developed chest pain during a gym workout. He later had angioplasty.
Raju suffered a heart attack during a workout on Wednesday morning. Reportedly, he was running on the treadmill when he complained of chest pain.
He is recovering and will be kept under observation for a few days before being discharged.
