Crisil shares fell over 2% A day before the record date for the declared dividend, Wednesday’s opening deals traded at Rs 3,230 on the BSE. The stock has started trading ex-dividend from March 30, 2022.

“During 2021, the company paid a total of three interim dividends 24 per equity share at a face value of Rs. The Board of Directors has recommended the final dividend of 15 per share and a special dividend of Rs. 7 per share (of face value of Rs.1). Calculate the total dividend for the year 46 per share,” the credit rating agency had said while announcing its results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2021.
Shares of CRISIL have gained about 73 per cent in the one-year period, while the counter is up nearly 13% in 2022 (Year-to-Date or YTD).
As per the recent shareholding pattern on BSE, Indian ace investor and stock market trader Rakesh Jhunjhunwala holds 2.92% stake in Crisil, while his wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala holds around 2.57% equity in the company as of December 2021.
