Rambanam revolves around Vicky aka Gopichand, a hot-headed young man who ran away from home during his childhood. He takes a violent and lawless approach to life, unlike his brother Rajaram alias Jagapathi Babu, who is a moral person and wants to lead an honest life. Vicky soon climbs the ladder of hierarchy to become a gangster in Kolkata. Eventually, he falls madly for an influencer named Bhairavi, played by Dimple Hayathi.

When Bhairavi’s family insists on meeting Vicky’s family before their wedding, Vicky has to face the fact that he has become the kind of person his brother loathes. To woo his love, Vicky returns home after hiding the news of his marriage from his brother. But, he soon learns that his brother Rajaram may also be hiding a secret.

As per the review by ETimes, while the film shows the makings of a typical masala entertainer, Rambanam fails to leave a lasting impression. In addition to exploring the relationship between two brothers, the story also touches on the topic of organic food versus processed food. Unfortunately, this element only serves as a means to elevate the antagonists (Tarun Raj Arora and Nassar) and doesn’t contribute significantly to the narrative.
