The ruling Shiv Sena said the comments in the bail order would be answered once the hearing in the case begins and the BJP should also be aware of the comments passed by the Bombay High Court against Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
Lok Sabha member Navneet Rana and her husband independent MLA Ravi Rana were released on bail on Thursday. He was arrested after he threatened to recite Hanuman Chalisa at Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s house.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Mr. Rana claimed that his wife’s health had deteriorated inside the jail, as the authorities refused to provide medical treatment to her on the orders of the government. “The treatment meted out to a woman was inhuman. The government has insulted a woman.”
Fadnavis’s comment
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said, “The court has exposed the harsh and undemocratic policies and actions of this MVA government to silence the voices of dissent. Will the government now apologize for wrongly holding public representatives hostage?”
Leader of Opposition in the State Council Pravin Darekar said the court’s remarks were a slap on the government’s misrule. “The government is unfairly targeting BJP leaders and others who are being saved by the court,” he said.
Shiv Sena leader and Transport Minister Anil Parab said the question of apologizing to anyone on the basis of the court’s observations does not arise. “they [observations] The reply will be given in court when the hearing begins. But since BJP leaders are taking the comments so seriously, I want to remind them of the High Court’s comment on the Governor regarding the appointment of 12 MLCs. Shouldn’t this be taken too seriously?” he saw.
He said that Shiv Sena believed that everyone can recite Hanuman Chalisa anytime at his personal place but threat of entering someone’s house will not be tolerated.
