The traditional celebration of ‘Rangbhari Ekadashi’ marked the beginning of the week-long Holi celebrations in Varanasi on March 13. Devotees offer Gulal and flowers to the idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. ‘Rangbhari Ekadashi’ is considered to be the beginning of Holi festival, it is celebrated every year at Kashi Vishwanath temple.
