Miyapur police have registered a case against a realtor for duping people of Rs 25 lakh.
A cheating case was registered on Sunday after around 20 people went to Miyapur police station alleging that Jani Basha, 40, owner of Maithri Projects had promised them flats in his real estate ventures, took money and later Absconded.
Based on her complaint, the realtor was booked under IPC sections 420 and 406 and an investigation was launched. The police is searching for him.
