Redmi Note 9 Indian Edition Receives Latest MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version Update

Filled with various tweaks related to looks, sounds and features, MIUI 12.5 is the current version of the interface that Mi phones are promoting. Recently, Xiaomi announced the introduction of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update redmi note 9. While the company has been rolling out the upgraded version update of MIUI 12.5 to various eligible devices since August, the latest announcement from the company brings the update to the global version of Redmi Note 9. The Indian version of Redmi Note 9 was supported by Android 10 and MIUI 11 at launch. Since then, the phone has received an update to Android as well as the Xiaomi software. The new OTA (over-the-air) update is being named as Stable Beta, which indicates that its availability is limited and will be coming to Indian phones in batches.

As reported by Telecom Talk, the current build of the update is marked as ‘V12.5.2.0.RJOINXM’ and is a package of customization rather than new features. Because of this, the update will not reflect any visible change in the overall appearance of the interface. However, some adaptations may be felt during use. In addition, the latest MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update brings along with the October 9 security patch for the Redmi Note 2021.

MIUI 12.5 is an interface with almost 20 times better computing power than its predecessor. The user interface consumes less power resulting in longer battery life. Apart from this, the software also extends the privacy cover for Mi users.
