Celebrated designer and budding actress Masaba Gupta is on an inspiring fitness journey. Masaba often shares her nutritional plans and workout regimen with her 1.6 million followers on Instagram. An open advocate of healthy living and clean eating, Masaba does not shy away from sharing about her good and bad days. She can be seen sabotaging her diet plan on some days while indulges in bhogas on other days. How does she balance the two, you may ask? Well, we’ve got the answers right here for you. Masaba recently revealed her secret to feeling normal after a binge and it is none other than the classic Indian comfort food khichdi that acts as her savior.
Yes, you read that right. Contrary to the popular belief that only detox water and fad recipes can get you back on track, Masaba instead prefers to eat completely homemade and healthy food. In his most recent post, he talks about how khichdi can be your medicine too. His thali filled with healthy and homemade khichdi was served with mixed veg which included moong beans and seasonal vegetables. She can also be seen enjoying a dollop of creamy yogurt over khichdi and a small pickle to ‘zoosh up’ the lunch.

She captioned the picture as- “Chalo (home-cooked) food is your medicine. Whenever I feel like going away from the way I normally eat (gajak and chikki in ridiculous amounts) – I khichdi” I eat it at least 3 times a week until my body feels better, with some vegetables thrown in the skillet for fiber, it’s comforting, tasty and delicious with pickles (in this ratio) and yogurt. Can be easily made with. Probiotics, carbs, fiber. She adds, “I’ve been sharing a lot of what my food and nutrition look like and I know it’s unexpected but it’s all for a big reason – that’s coming soon” and ended it with a heart emoji. Masaba Gupta has promoted healthy living from time to time and has always been super accessible about her personal fitness journey as well. At a recent AMAs, the designer revealed her favorite Indian food, healthy post-lunch sweet treats and what she thinks about fad diets and weight loss. When asked to give advice to people struggling with weight loss, she told her followers, “So, if you’ve always thought about eating less or going on a fad diet or just taking an extreme step , then it will never work. The idea is to do exercise and physical activity along the way and make it your lifestyle.” In the same story, she also said, “Eat well 80% of the time and have fun the rest of the time.
